DK&M Cares LLC is not an assisted living facility, nursing home, adult foster care home, medical facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare provider. The company does not provide medical care, nursing services, medication administration, personal care assistance, activities of daily living (ADL) support, or any services requiring state licensure as a healthcare or assisted living provider.

Residents are expected to be capable of living independently and managing their own personal care needs, medications, healthcare appointments, and daily activities. Residents requiring ongoing medical supervision, skilled nursing care, memory care, or assistance with activities of daily living may be referred to an appropriately licensed healthcare or residential care provider.

The primary purpose of DK&M Cares LLC is to provide safe, affordable, and supportive transitional housing while assisting residents in securing permanent housing, accessing community resources, and maintaining independent living. Residency is generally intended to be temporary, with most residents transitioning to permanent housing within twenty-four (24) months or less.
